a 6 day turn around from Tassie to play a side which they might win against. Have a week off and line up against Carlton. Doesn't sound that dumb to me. Geelong next week will rest half their side against a bottom side.

Buddy should kill it. If he is on 150 plus, He has the potential

with the dockers, for them to go into 4th place they need to win both games and western bulldog do not win this week or next. Syd has a bad % and would have to win both games and dockers to not win a game. Therefore dockers are playing for 5th or 6th place (Carlton versus dockers).

Why fly your team to the otherside of the country to play in freezing conditions then fly back and play on a friday night (6 days recovery). Carlton have 7 day turn around but play 2nd place.

Ultimately they are counting on beating carlton and having a fully fit and rested team, should help their chances.

I am happy with the resting policy as it gives the Dockers a better chance of winning next week to secure a home final.

Back to the question, I would go Roo just in front of Buddy. I have Buddy and think he will kill it but am a little worried about the weather in Tassie...

Completely agree with the Freo decision.  Smart move to get players little niggles sorted out before smashing Carlton and having an assault on the finals series.

Buddy is the choice for me

yeh i didnt realise they need the doggies to lose both :P it reli was their only option to not take a full team over.
I was havin a look at the weather for saturday in Launceston as well and it said passing showers in the morning and fine in the arvo so fingers crossed the weather is fine for the game :D
