HELP USING FF

everytime i go to upload a photo to my profile it comes up with
"The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved. "
i have tried using gif and jpg but both dont work. anyone know what todo?

if you got the photo of the internet you can just paste the link for the pic and it will upload if for you. that's how i did it

but there is more than one pic on the site, how will it get the one I want?

Right click on image, select "open image in new tab" or something like that, copy and past URL into avatar settings

Has to be a URL with just the pic plain on there. Could try doing what ossie or DG said. Should work out.
