Meanwhile, Voss said he would know more on the fitness of skipper Jonathan Brown (knee) "in the next 24 hours".

The injury robbed Brown of celebrating his 200th game in front of the Gabba faithful last Sunday against Adelaide.

But Voss said it was tempting to put the inspirational leader on ice for the rest of 2010 to ensure a full pre-season.

"As far as Browny goes, we are at a stage where as a club and a team we want to see out the season strong, so we will be picking a team based on that," Voss said.

"If Browny isn't right ... if he can't fulfil his end of the bargain, it is probably best to tell him to take a rest, but that is to be determined."
