Steele Sidebottom didn't get a nomination last year, but played great in the finals which would've almost guaranteed a nomination. But the games he played in the finals ruled him ineligible for this year! Seems a bit unfair. Perhaps the '10 game rule' should exclude finals?

Yeah if you can't get nominated in finals it should not count towards your 10 games.

Having said that you should not be ABLE to get nominated in finals, just like you can't get Brownlow votes or add to your Coleman tally. Obviously unfair to the blokes who don't play finals.
