In the Prelim this week with 2 trades left, looking at getting in either a premium midfielder or even Riewoldt.  Team is as follows:

Goddard, Hodge, Enright, Fisher, Waters, Grundy, H Shaw (Hunt, Strijk)
Swan, Ablett, Montagna, Bartel, Cooney, Dangerfield (Stevenson, McNeil)
Sandilands, Naitanui (Warnock, Trengove)
Chapman, Goodes, Didak, Pavlich, Franklin, ROK, Brown (Davis, O'Hailpin)

At this stage, I'm thinking of going with my rucks, which is perhaps the weak link but I think I can get more points in the other positions.

Given all players are fit for selection and also the run home who do you think is the best option?  All thoughts welcome.
Cheers!

Looking at your team I would be upgrading Dangerfield to either Boyd, Hayes or Pendlebury.  I think that will give you the biggest point increase.

LF

definately upgrade dangerfield to one of the players valkorum mentioned.but wait and see whats going on with sandi because he may not play and you may need to get another premium ruck.

Warnock and Trengove have been smashing out 80's the last couple of weeks.  I would back them in to do that again and move Dangerfields dismal 60'ish average up to someone with a 100 average

Definitely keeping an eye on Sandilands.  I just wonder given the results over the weekend whether Freo will take the risk with him this week (Hawks in Tassie) or wait until R22 (at home vs  Carlton) to sure up their finals spot & potential home final.

I think that is a big decision Freo will have to make this week.  The other thing is do we want Sandi to have just 1 game under his belt before finals or do they want him to have 2

If he is fit, they need to play him. Sandi could dominate hawthorn and home-final chance is slipping away....

I agree that if he is fit (or even 90% fit) that we need to play him.  He is a proven difference and we need as many "best 22" players playing as our depth isnt strong enough yet.

Move Danger to forward emergency and upgrade Brown to Roo?

Have thought about this as well & might need to depending on how Brown pulls up.

Master Q

I like the Idea of moving Danger and getting Roo, as he is on fire with 2 easy games to play.

CFC 1979

Roo in great form

if you don't have him i don't think you can win GF

Another option, given the doubts with both Sandilands & Brown, is to trade Sandi to say McIntosh (WCE/Melb) and Brown to say Waite (Geel/Freo) or maybe even Rioli (Freo/Coll).  Thoughts???

Team is:

Goddard, Hodge, Enright, Fisher, Waters, Grundy, H Shaw (Hunt, Strijk)
Swan, Ablett, Montagna, Bartel, Cooney, Dangerfield (Stevenson, McNeil)
Sandilands, Naitanui (Warnock, Trengove)
Chapman, Goodes, Didak, Pavlich, Franklin, ROK, Brown (Davis, O'Hailpin)

By the way 2 trades left & $59900  in my pocket.
