I have 3 trades - $207,100 in bank

I have Sandi and Nic Nat as rucks (planning on trading nic nat to cox this week) leaving me 1 trade left this round and $126,900 in bank.

My fowards are Goodes, Pav, Rok, Brown, Higgins,Rockliff, Pods (Grant/Ellard)

I want to bring in Roo, but who do i trade out?? Pods? Grant? or even Higgins?

This week im in an elimation final, I also have Luke Ball injured (with no cover, due to Banner/Gysberts out)

So what do i do this week? Play with 2 donuts? and hope i win? or trade out ball?

it depends whether you opponent has 0s or if you think you can still win
perhaps even hold off on the nicnat trade for one week although you do need to get rid of him
id try to avoid 0s ahead of upgrades at this stage

Gysberts/Banner -> Premium mid

That's what I'd do if you need to get the W!

You have enough cash so I would leave Roo for another week and trade Ball for any premium mid you don't have.

If you really want to trade Roo in this week do the above and get rid of Pods.

@dockerone, Roo has a b/e of 38 and i think he is gonna boom very soon. and that could then put him out of reach for me. My midfield at the moment is, GAJ,monty,swan,ball,mitchell,NDS. and im unsure about Pods because they play WCE @ skilled in round 22 (if i make it, i think PODs will fire, wanting to get a spot in the side come september...)

@fireballz nic nat is terrible and must go imo, banner i think will back, and im just waiting to try and hear something about Ball, whether it is the same injury he sustained at the saints or its general resting..

@laney21 what im thinking now is, will the upgrades cover my 0's? (as in the bonus points ill get from upgrades will cover some of my score, and then if i win - the upgrade has benefitted me)

would love some other opinions please

its up to what you think really perhaps do one upgrade and cover one zero?

cover the zero's
if you get in a player that scores even a 60-70, that is more than an upgrade will score you
its elimination mate, take it one week at a time and dont look towards next week untill this weeks job is done ;)

I agree with Plugz - cover the zero's. And if you can cover Ball's zero with a Hayes/Pendles 100 that is 100 points more  :)

You could go Pods to Roo and Ball to Hayes this week and then have 60k to upgrade Nic Nat next week barring injuries etc.

Or Grant to Roo and Ball to Hayes for an extra 10k (would hopefully bring Hille in if he doesn't kill it this week)

Or what I would probably do would be Pods to Roo and Ball to Thompson, leaving you about 90k to upgrade NicNat and you could have Cox, Ryder, Clark or Hille...

heres my plan. $207,100(bank atm) + 362,200 (sandi) = $569,300 - $313,300 (cox) = $256,000 ( 1 trade this week left, 1 next week) then ball ($382,500) + 256,000 = $638,500 minus Judd (372,200) = $266,300 left in bank with 1 trade left. Can basically get any forward i want (trading out Grant/Pods, and get someone, Boomer?Chappy (if not rested)/ Dids / Roo?

So do i get Judd or get someone more expensve than judd, cuz ill have $266,300 + $276,000 = $542,300 most expensive forward is didak @ like 436k..., leaving me with 0 trades and about $110,000 in the bank..

next week (provided i win)
Pods/Grant -> Didak

So ill bring in chappy and didak (leaving me with 0 trades going into GF if i make it), not a big fan of my rucks being Cox/nic nat, but thats just how the cookie crumbles i guess.

any other suggestions please comment.

Seems like some very decent trades I reckon...you will be sitting pretty if you make the gF.

Re my own situation, 2 elimination finals this week so am using my last 2 trades to get over the line.  My additions are going to be either:

Mark Murphy (Midfield)- ROK (Forward)
Harvey (forward)-ROK (Mid)
ROK (Forward)- Kade Simpson (Mid)
Waite (Forward)-Griffen (Mid)

I know ROK is out of form but he is cheao and wil free up some cap room.
