Sadly it will be Carlton up there with GC...
At last, an answer.
You all but said it up there Q. I think those other few will still be in the top 4 or at least contending. North will lose players but they have a heap of players who will be coming into their prime.
Such as?

Fletch74

I don't think you can rule out Adelaide. They have a very good young list of players that will do well in the next couple of years.

Norths mids will be one of the best... They won't be far off the blues.

Alex7089

No they will not, Bastinac, Rawlings (I know, but we have already established he is pretty good) Zeibell, Macmillan...
YOu could go on and on.

Ziebell? He spends more time up front. Macmillan? I rank Kane Lucas higher then him.

Yes, Adelaide are a threat, but I don't think they have enough fire power. Plus, some players will leave to GC or retire.

I'm talking re their young guns Q, no retiring there. Yes some may be lost to GC though.

Alex7089

I think every club is in danger of losing players to GC Q, Carlton included.

I do too but Macmillan hasn't played many games and add Anthony & Cunnington too that.

Alex7089

Anthony will be a star! I like what I have seen of Macmillan so far though, although it isn't much he looks good...

No big players though, I think there all happy at Carlton, not being bias though.

I like to feel the same at Esendon, we are *cough* mostly *cough* loyal to our players and it is a good club with a great history.

Good young players could slip through though, it is what GC may go after from a few clubs.

Master Q

Carlton and Essendon's best young players won't leave.

(Making a thread in North board about Midfield)

Alex7089

I would hope not, we are in a shaky position and if our young blokes left it would screw us pretty bad...

bunyip

I think we worry too much about GC and GWS. They can only fit so many players on their list, and they have a million draft picks.

Alex7089

You wouldn't be worried about the fact they can take 1 uncontracted player from each club and we can't do anything? You aren't worried under that draft pick thing GARY ABLETT is worth pick 30 something?
I am pretty worried.
