Yeah got to agree with Alex there. Plus, I'm sure he didn't play the best each game so It would be almost impossible to win it.

YEah there was a game in like round 3/4 where he scored like 62 SC and like 70 DT I think he would of missed out in that game.

It'll be between them but In all honesty we all know that it should be Sandi, and if not him Pav. If they weren't at Freo you would be trying to shake off Brisbane and WCE.

They are definitely key players at our club.  But we have a very young bunch of exciting prospects who have all stepped up this year (or last year) so dont put our season down to just 1 or 2 players - this is a team game

Obviously Pav, Sandi, Mundy & Barlow are stars (future star in Barlow's case) but then you have the likes of Broughton, Hill, DeBoer, Ballantyne, Fyfe, Palmer, Silvagni, Suban who have all played above expectations of a first or second year player.

That along with the experience of McPharlin, Tarrant, Grover, Crowley, Hasleby, Hayden, Duffman makes for a good blend of experience and youth which (IMO) is the the major key to Freo's good year.

Unfortunately our depth isnt as strong as the Cats, Pies, Saints and Bulldogs yet, and key injuries are hurting us (at the wrong time of the year :()

I agree valk, I would say with a bit of luck with injuries and good form Freo will be top 4 next year and having a very good look at a premiership (finally)
I think the Bulldogs and Saints have already started to drop off this year (especially saints) and will continue to fall next year. I also think over the next couple of years Geelong will be on the way down leaving only Collingwood.

Val what's your view on this:

All those players are very good, but none of them except for Sandi, Pav and maybe Barlow have won you a game this year, and don't look like they ever will except for Mundy.

Broughton, Fyfe, Dufman even Ballantyne all have the potential to win a game fr Freo, in the future.

I know I am well aware of that, I think that group of guys will be very good and have shown the potential to show up when the pressure is on.
