Yes, 39 top 2 finishes in 114 years is terrible.

Yes Ossie, but only a 38.5% strike rate when they make it.

Boomz

top 2 finishes count for nothing if they can't win the big one!

No denying it, but it can hardly be a reason why 'the Pies are so bad'

Not many reasons why the pies are "so bad" except that they choke in september... The most important month in footy!

You know, eventually people will realise the irony of calling Collingwood a choker.

What's the definition of a choke? That's right - losing a game you should have won. Why should they have won? Cos they are the better team. So all you supporters saying Collingwood choked (which I admit) are basically saying, Carlton fans especially, that Collingwood are a better team. And if it wasn't for Collingwood LOSING a match as opposed to the opposition WINNING, they would not win.

Yes Collingwood have choked. It is a burden the mighty Pies will always have. It is a burden that all the great sporting teams of history have, because any loss is seen as a disapointment.

Remember, the Magpies are loved by thousands. Despised by more. This is Collingwood. The spirt of Australian sport. When we win we celebrate, when we lose we cry and come back stronger than ever. That's the true history of Collingwood. We're not a club whose supporters go missing in the lean times, where supporters that not only love the Magpies - warts and all - but are the true lovers of Aussie Rules and all it stands for!
