Leon Davis - a liability?

Neon Leon can dazzle and win games for the Magpies.

Yet again however, he went missing in last night's game, and I'm of the opinion he won't perform in September.

I believe Tarkyn Lockyer and Paul Medhurst - who have proven themselves in finals, would be better options. And even Jarryd Blair is hungrier.

Nathan Brown should come in for an injured Ben Reid, and other than that Collingwood's best 22 is settled.

Yeah if you guys are wanting to be a serious threat in september he needs to go and the sooner the better so Medhurst/Lockyer or whoever it is that replaces him can get some games into them.

Lockyer should hopefully get another chance to prove himself before the season is over.

If the pies want to get rid off him, I know a team that might need the experience and forward presence ;).

Don't you think he had his chances in the '02/'03 GF's and now he needs to go? I also think he will go missing in September (as usual) and could really cost the Pies.

I sort of have to root for the Pies especially if they make the GF seeing as I am related to Chris Dawes and I live in Geelong I really couldn't deal with yet another premiership from them. Their freakin' supporters are everywhere...

Seriously tho, as good as Leon can be he just can't handle it in the Big high pressure games, Therefore can't play Finals. He is a Front Runner.
