No doubt Akermanis is one of the finest footballers of recent times, and I have no problem with people speaking there minds! But he believes he is bigger than the team, and that is unacceptable.

I agree that after all that Aka has done for the game he deserved better from the bullies, they treated him like shower.

I disagree. Wayne Carey's career was destroyed, as was Ben Cousins (his games now don't mean anything) and Andrew Lovett isn't likely to play again. Fevola was sacked and is a shadow of his former self, and heaps of players have been traded, sacked, suspended and fined. I see no inconsistency!

Akermanis treated the Bulldogs (and the Lions) with constant contempt. Just because they have the professionalism not to bad-mouth Aker on the media as much as Aker does to them, does not mean Aker's side of the story is true.
