If Valkys stats are right and they are 3rd in first possessions then they "get it" more often than 13 other teams MQ. Dare I say including Carlton.

Was talking about Mundy not Freo.

Those stats were about Freo of which Mundy is part of that Midfield.  Around the middle of the season the #1 midfield for clearances (in the comp) was Sandi, Mundy, Barlow and Crowley.

I know. I said there are many good footballers out there they just don't get the ball. I'm talking about Mundy?

Not enough to be an A Grader.

valkorum

So an A grader is determined by possessions?

Well it's not enough.

Alex and Ossie agreed.

No definitely not, and no doubt he is a class act, but you can't be A grade unless you are extremely involved in every game with lots of the pill, or lots of tackles things like that. An A grade mid knows where he need s to be to get involved.

I ask that you guys actually watch a freo game with the intention of watching Mundy.  He is very active with the play and definitely goes under the radar.

Rhys Palmer gets plenty of the ball but can't kick, therefore is no where near an A-grader. I think Priddis is similar although not as bad a kick as Palmer.

Compare to Judd, Pendlebury, Didak, Cooney and Dal Santo - silky skills, never miss a target, bring other players into it and always seems to choose the right option.

Back to Gibbs, so we all agree that Gibbs is soft and a down hill skiier then. Very good.

I agree with Palmer but his kicking skills arent as bad as most people make out.  He has made a big improvement on his kicking skill since his first season but he is no Gilbee or NDS when it comes to kicking.  (although how good would he be if he did have kicking skills like those 2)

I think Gibbs role on the half back doesnt suit him and that hasnt helped his perceived softness.

that's why I introduced some independant video evidence to quell such claims.
