ok - who should be the coach of the year so far

take in the list he has, last few years form and how he has coached against other coaches to win games

8 choices. i don't think the others qualify

bunyip

I reckon Harvs. He's done a great job to get Freo where they are.

CFC 1979

yeah with where they were last year and his blooding of young players, i think he's done well

Justin Bieber

Clarkson has underachieved. Was expected a top 4 team before the season began and hasn't lived up to expectations.

Harvey gets my vote. Overhauled the list with good effect after a few years :). Malthouse would be my number 2 pick.

You might say I am biased but definitely Harvey.

yep Harvey worked wonders this year and the guy has come a mile from the awkward coach he was when he  first took over.... in press conferences u just wanted to yell cut and bail the guy out

Harvey has been great, and Malthouse and Thompson haven't done much wrong.

For the bottom 8 sides? I think Dean Bailey pips Hardwick, Melbourne haven't embarrassed themselves as much as this year.

Brad Scott's done a decent job in his first year.

Harvey by a country mile. He's done wonders for Freo

Harvey for sure, look what he has done for Freo, without him I think they would pretty much be in the same spot as they were last year.

dylsta05

i like harvey he pulled em up to nearly top 4

Wheels are falling off now. Injuries are crippling

Alex7089

Hardly his fault one of his most important players broke his leg... Although, really, a first year player shouldn't be that important but he was/is. Still a fair effort to make finals.

roo boys!

Harvey for me, just because of the unexpected start

For mine,i would unfortunatly have to say Malthouse,by a fair way.How he has got that list playing so well is beyond me.

Secondly,Brad Scott.North have a heap of young blokes in the team, that are starting to play a style that will hold us in good stead for a long time.Add in Petrie and a touch of luck with injuries next year,he might even make CFC1999's list of top 8 coaches next year ::)

Hardwick has been OK,and Bailey making the list is questionable. What is it,his 3rd year?C'mon CFC1999,did you work on that list with CARO?

Nobody can survive direct contact with Caro ;)
