Hey all,

Not sure if this sort of topic has been touched on.

Interested to know how coaches intend to use their final trades. Seems to be a lot of conjecture about ways to go about it in several discussions I have had and read similar chatter on several forums.

For example - 4 trades left ---> 2 downgrades/2 upgrades
                    - 3 trades left ---> 1 downgrade/2 upgrades
                    - 3 trades left ---> 3 upgrades

Obviously, ability to upgrade is dependent on each teams cash situation as well. Also, need to take into consideration potential resting/injury/ suspensions when they arise.

At least 2 trades at this point of the season seems to be the general view.

I have 2 trades left but have enough cash to upgrade 2 players on field :D.

The failed Pods downgrade opened alot of cash up but leaves me no cover now >:(.

With 3 trades left and if not alot of cash was stored, reckon 1 downgrade and 2 upgrades is the way to go for that one. A little give for a bigger take as long as you get the right players ;).

3 trades...$140k
Likely to use them on injuries only.
Lake is the only player I'd like who could add lots to my team but I'm not going to get him for Waters in a single trade...
If I've got 2 left for the grand final I'll do 2 minor upgrades using the cash or downgrade Trengove/ Warnock on ruck bench and get Lake
