IMO the only team outside the 8 with a realistic chance of getting in. A win against Freo and the Hawks do the right thing and it's only percentage keeping them out.
That loss to Essendon looks more significant now doesn't it. Still, you can't change that.
This is a winnable game, it's just 2 weeks ago Freo were thrashed by the Bullies.
I think the roos will win, Freo are less intimidating away from their fortress. If the roos lose, kiss finals footy goodbye.

Because North are going to beat Freo thats why. I expect that after the dust settles this weekend, North will be the only team with a chance of getting in the 8. I believe they are now. Other teams have a mathematical chance of making it IF they don't drop a game for the rest of the season.  Fat chance.

I beg to differ. Melbourne are only 2 points behind North and Sydney have 3 of the top 6 teams in the last 4 rounds, thus they are likely to lose them.

North have 2 of the top 5 teams, and the Eagles in Perth. Melbourne, on the other hand have 3 teams in the bottom 8.... They are a better chance if you ask me.

I am actually quite confiedent that they can pull out a nice win this week, and then I agree, we do have a very realistic chance of making the 8.

Melbourne's draw renders their poor percentage irrelevant. 48 points guarantees you a place in the 8. 46 points you would need one or two results to go your way.
