Couldn't believe it when I heard about this, it's like something back in grass roots footy.

Yeah I know! Seriously, makes it a bit of joke when teams have to have 5 days between matches, but players can play 2 in one day.

Kangaroos fault though, that is what emergencies are for!

Yeah true Ossie. It's also a shame Hale can't use this as an excuse for all his crappy games  :D

Read this and laughed on Monday. Had a few cans of coke and some junk food. Then had to play ::).

Why was he even named an emergency if they had no reason to call him up in the first place? ::)

What's he doing drinking coke and junk food after a game? Sounds like how I recover after sport! Poor recovery techniques!

Justin Bieber

After a long week of preparation, the players have the night after the match to kind off "junk out" ;D. Guess they deserve it after a week long of hard work ;).

Ossie don't some clubs eat pizza after a game these days? I've also seen lots of players drinking cokes and eating lollies. Seems liek a very poor choice in my opinion but I guess they have the science to back it up......... ::)

roo boys!

It was funny but he didn't really do anything anyway, he just took up a position on the field.

Yeah true, lollies and coke I can understand (though taking caffeine seems a bit odd AFTER a match) - but pizza and saturated fat seems odd for elite sportspeople... I don't really know much about it though!

its not that, is the fact that AFL players build up to one match a week not 2
