It's a pretty good looking side.
I'm guessing that your banking on Pearce and Broughton to be evelated to the senior list then relying on one them or Hill to get a game. Very clever, but watch carefully.
Looking for one of Robinson, Swift, Beams to play R1 is risky. Rich looks safer.
I'd take Yarran over Zeibell at this stage.
Gilbee more of a SC player but still solid.
I know Skippy had a solid game against the Dogs but his spot in the team is no certainty with Myers, Davey & Reimers all to come back.
You are on the right track though.

Hey thanks for the advice..
Yeah i was banking on at least one of them being elevated to the senior list, but after alot of thought i have gone for alot cheaper backline with potential with Hill starting on the bench.

My main reasons for this are:
1. due to the lack of back rookies if one of my players was to go down injured/ dropped
2. The lack of downgrade prospects when Hill reaches his peak

As for Yarran, I am not completely sold on him. If Ziebell does not start straight away I think Grant is a reasonable backup who is guaranteed games this year, injury prevailing.
Robinson will play due to the outs of Carrazzo and Stevens and from what I have read Carlton supporters regard him as being in the teams best 22.
So its a gamble that I am willing to take choosing Robinson over Rich allowing me to upgrade the rest of the team, hoping it pays dividends.

Have also traded Tuck > Boak        Hasleby > Masten         Johnson > Giansiracusa

The new team therefore reads like this.

Backs: Goddard, Mattner, Gram, Malceski, Houlihan, Petterd, Raines (Hill, Broughton)

Mids: Swan, Selwood, Gibbs, Boak, Masten, Robinson (Beams, Anthony)

Rucks: Cox, McIntosh (Currie, Jacobs)

Forwards: Deledio, Didak, Giansiracusa, Brennan, Higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell (Grant, Ballantyne)

If Broughton and Pearce both get elevated i can run the risk of starting a backline consisting of: Goddard, Lockyer, Gram, Drummond, Malceski, Houlihan, Hill   ( Broughton, Pearce)

This option does not change the rest of the new look team.

Hope that justifies my selections and doesnt drag on.
Thanks again.

Looks sound.
We will all learn more as the season start approaches.
Keep a watch on Petted, Robinson, Skipworth, Ziebell & your bench as that is where you most risk lies.
But otherwise is a very even team.
