lol, nah it actually is that bad..........it makes fremantle's song look pretty damn good which is not an easy thing to do.

Kazahkstan

Well then, tell me what is wrong with it?

SCADDICT

It's just extraordinarily boring and cliched. And very cheesy(although most teams songs are) .

I like how it feels like an old-time song.

Personally, I don't think how the 'professional' version sounds matters; it's how the players belt it out after the game that defines a song... which we are yet to hear for ourselves.

So Kazahkstan, our resident Gold Coast supporter, how many matches you guys expect to win next year? Shall be interesting

Kazahkstan

Ask me again after the trade period. :P

Nah, in all honesty, I would say around the 6/7 mark. Obviously, the playing list isn't finished and there's still players to come and go, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I can't wait to see who we pick up in the off-season though.

Yep at the end of the minor round will be intersting to see if any one from the bottom 8 say they haved signed or want to go & then as teams are eliminated to see who else.

Trade week will be very interesting as well. Drafts also.

Notice that every AFL and NRL side in Queensland now shares its name with an Amercan franchise...

Denver Broncos
Dallas Cowboys
Tennessee Titans.
Detroit Lions.
Phoenix Suns.

Next when the AFL decides to try its luck in Nth Qld, we'll see the Townsville Yankees :-\

Lol!

Though the Lions were originally Victorian. But the Americans have a team called 'the Bears' somewhere don't they?
