Anyone think he will play again? Is he playing magoos yet after the injury?

He's stinking up the pine with Shuey and Dalsanto cost me a donut!

Could he come straight back into the one's???

Blueboys

Hate to say it but will be hard to get into the Melbourne team atm...  :o

bonebones

Surely he'll be back. Has a back injury and listed as being available this week. Played two great games before having an average game against the pies (94,84&23 SC points) Hold and see if he's named this or next week.

tony73

mmm Im not so sure Blueboys, interview a few weeks back  Bailey said he was going to turn his list over in the later part of the season.

"On the couch" they also commented that their first year players were just about cooked ie Trengove injury, Scully wearing down!

hawk_88

I'm sure he will play. Should be back from his back injury this week.

Blueboys

Wait and see then, if you hav him it would be a waste to trade him at this stage, might give you some cover for them rested saints tony!  ;D

Beware the saints resting players like they did last year just before finals!  ;)

bonebones

Yes although they were top of the ladder and clear then. Now in a slightly more precarious position. Need some wins, particularly if they lose to the hawkers this week

Watched a bit of Gysbert in the first two games and he has a bit of polish about him, would be very surprised if he didn't get another gig and sooner rather than later.

Its obvious the rested Saints issue is on again but a little diferently this year, Goddard first, Dal on the weekend! I would call it a rotational rest policy as opposed to that one particular round last year! I have Joey and Gilbert as well, they could be next but who knows! Its a raffle and this is fantasy!

And do you think its resricted to one club!!!! The "general soreness" rule is in full effect down at the cattery! I doubt Podsy will see the season out without missing a game here and there!

Blueboys

I need a rest from watching the blues play! Killing it! lol  ::)

They don't really need wins.

The top 4 will most likely be Saints, Geelong, Collingwood and Bulldogs. All in Melbourne and no doubt one will be played at Etihad, most likely the Saints game given they will be above the Dogs. Even so they aren't travelling so there is no real advantage to being in the top 2.

Gysberts has been listed as "test" so will more than likely be available for selection. Fingers crossed...

woofy

hope he plays aswell... have him and shuey and dal santo indefinate like tony73 :(

Torress

i had the gysberts, shuey and NDS doughnut as well this week.
it is too late, i am thinking if they get games they will just be used as cover now.
i guess gysberts depends on who is in/out i wouldn't say he is a walk in for a recall. he'd have to prove he is ready, young / weak looking body doesn't help. shuey looks to have alot of endeavour, from what we've seen of him thus far if he is ready he will get picked at WC atm. that koby steven is injured as well

roo boys!

Hope he is back, but doesn't concern me too much as i have other cover.
