We've gotten rid of Choco.
Knights is all but gone.
Voss is "under pressure"
Worsfold is in trouble.
A few wins has saved Hardwick and Bailey (this year)
If Freo had a poor season Harvs would be in strife.
Bomber's getting bored and wants to do something that will challenge him.
Roos has had enough.
Malthouse has been sacked with a velvet glove.
Clarkson was looking for a place to hide early in the season
Players get to sack their managers
Coaches get to sack players
CEO's get to sack coaches
Who gets to sack the CEO who hired the coach, with the approval of the board.

Can you imagine oss the amount of pressure on you as a coach from day 1. Failure is simply not an option. It makes me wonder who is more important, the coach or the players.
Does a good coach turn good players into great ones, and therefor make a great team?
Look at Carlton and Fremantle. One is a moderately good team with a few great players, the other is a very good team with a lot of good players.
Is that an over simplification do you think?

I reckon coaches currently get about 2 years to show they are improving.

Dean Bailey's job is safe for now, cos he has shown improvement, and must keep showing it to keep it.

Ross Lyon missed the finals in his first year, before pulling it together.

Hell, Mark Thompson had 6 or 7 years.

Really it is only Mark Williams that has gone so far this year, and if the media had its way, he would've gone last year.
