Has anyone started to build a plan team for 2011. I've got a few that i no will be in my team but i was wondering who other people are locking in for next year already.
Yep but i'm afraid i'll have too much money... here's three i can be bothered remembering from the top of my head.
X.Clarke, D.Petrie, D. Kerr

Considering everyone's aim by the end of the season is to have a full team of premiums, with that said the best strategy really in order to save trades is to take in as many premiums as possible with just the right amount of rookies to cash in and upgrade later.  I mean, we all try to have faith in our premiums so it could be a could idea to go with 2 locks in each position, 1 in rucks and then try to get as many underpriced premiums as possible along with a good number of rooks.

that is my plan too, there looks like there will be plenty of cheap premiums around if they get games/get their bodies right

Adcock
X. Clarke
Petrie
Drummond
Seaby
Ziebell
Fevola

And there will also be some good/important rookies:

D. Swallow
K. Hunt
Harris
Z. Smith
J. Toy
and many others

elephants

who is J. toy? i have heard of the rest but this is all i have heard of him. also what are peoples thoughts on a seaby/ petrie ruck combo? too weak?

benjy251090

strong forward from vic country, will be a good player, might not be good first year but hoping he might be like a gumbleton this year as a cover player for the year

seaby/petrie could be good, i am definately looking at petrie, especially if he is still MPP, seaby should get a discount as well, but i would want sandilands as well in my team

elephants

thanks benjy,

j. toy sounds good :)

i am looking at seaby/petrie due to the fact seaby has shown he can bust out pretty reasonable scores until his injury. also with his injury he will get a pretty good discount. also i figured that the rucks are the lowest scoring position so two guys that get me 80 odd consistently would suffice. also looking at coxy :)

benjy251090

yeah, i guess the combination will be good if low on cash, if i have plenty of money i will go sandi/petrie

To afford them will have to start some rookies in the beginning.

I might do something similar. Will try it out if Fanplanner gets back up and running this year.

i plan on starting at least 4 rookies or 100k or below players this year had 3 but i think there will be more options looks like a good draft

elephants

yeah okay :)

what are your thoughts on chris knights? is he too injury prone? he is at 317 k now with a b/e of 138. will he play next week and will he be good next year? thanks :)

Justin Bieber

I wanted Knights this year as a unique but got injured early :(. With a few retirings, should get more run in the midfield and could be a bargain at a price around 300k if his body is right.

For rookies, keep an eye out for Hallahan and Buchan. Hallahan a great inside mid while Buchan is a decent forward. Has gone on a stroll when he kicked i think 40+ goals in 17 matches. Might be less matches as I read it in the local paper recently.
