I've been very loyal to what has been a remarkable year for the iPod but I can't help notice the inconsistency that is creeping into his scores with 3 scores under 65 over the last 4 weeks. With a B/E of 151 and finals neigh, the time for hard calls has arrived.

So I'm thinking of cutting the iPod free, wishing him all the best and upgrading him to Buddy or even the higher risk strategy of J.Brown for the bargain price of $391k.

With 8 trades left my forward line is Pav, Boomer, ROK, Rioli, Hall, Higgins, Gumbles & iPod. I will trade Rock to Chapman next week.

If you confident your guna make the grand final, it's worth keeping him because they play W/C at Skilled Stadium in Rd 22.

Blueboys

I am going to keep him until finals. Looking at a move to Roo maybe.  ;D

Pods is a  Hold atm...

TO BUDDY?
he'll get himself suspended again...or injured.
its fate.

ROK - CHAPPY???

I would be looking at HALL to CHAPPY if you want him in your team. ROK is a gun and should NOT be traded out.

Thanks Roo boys, I do mean Rockliff.

I'm just thinking the iPod train may have sailed. Its a big $$ drop if he score 60-80 this week.

roo boys!

It's funny though, there are threads talking about whether to put him captain, I reckon wait out this week and if he doesn't notch up a big one at Skille against Lion then he won't against anyone.

He's at skilled this week - a very good sign.

Roo boys, the captain thread is clearly not for any serious SC contenders. Different world I think.

The problem with your theory is his B/E is 151 this week.  If he pulls a 70 this week (which is higher than his last two weeks) he effectively drops $35k. Its decision time.

Cruiseon are you planning to put hall or higgins on the bench?as you will have buddy and chappy in your forward line as well seems a bit crowded to me.I'm am keeping pods to the end.

roo boys!

True, it is a bit primative to rush to the conclusion to put him captain just because of where he is playing.

But I believe that if you want to be succesful at these games you need to take a gamble somtimes, and I believe Pods this week is one. With Geelong likely to pump the Lions, he may win a lot of ball and get another 120+ score that he has before and it really will get everyone singing his praises again and it will get his b/e back on track, down to probably 90 or so. Then that should keep his price pretty solid for a few more weeks and he will have some confidence back. If he doesn't play well, then his price isn't so bad that you can't get anyone for him so it is worth the risk.

your forward line isnt too bad atm..
with that said, if you want to improve your forward line, look at trading Hall out
If i was you i would downgrade Gumbleton to some1 like Trent Dennis-Lane and then upgrade Hall to Buddy, Didak or Chapman

Cruiseon

Thanks Vman, I think my perfect finals forward line will include Buddy, Roo & Chapman and exclude Rocky, Hall & Pods.

I know its ambitious but that is why I have 8 trades left.

roo boys!

That's a nice situation to be in for you, good luck with that trading! :D
