Strange ladder occurences

I know why this happens, but they still annoy me.

In the real world, Essendon went out of the bottom 4 despite losing abysmally.

In one of my SC leagues, I was 5th two rounds ago.

I beat two other top 8 teams in the next two weeks and guess what my new ladder position is?

That's right, 6th.

I know why, and it is fair, just find it funny and annoying. Anyone else have strange things like that?

Seriously? That's quite epic. One of my leagues has nothing but percentage separating 2nd and 7th, thought that was close!

Some crummy team with black and white stripes is being touted as top of the ladder.

I don't get it, as my ladder here at home has the Bombers on top.
