Enough is enough!!

I'm a bit concerned at the moment...I think it is getting to a stage where all our teams are going to be too similar!! I've just had about enough of all the raines/anthony posts.

Not to point anyone out, but too many people are asking what to do about these players or things like 'is anthony to robinson a good trade' etc.

Fair enough asking people for advice before the season starts, but IMO it hasn't turned out so well as so many teams are the same (well in my leagues anyway). But now that the season has started i believe that each coach should just worry about their team!

It is getting to a stage where everyone that has the same injured player will trade him out for the same recruit! People are getting spoonfed advice on what to do with Raines- it is driving me crazy because by the end of the season teams will be far to similar!!

In short i think it is time for coaches to stand up and believe in their decision making instead of getting advice for every trade. It is fine to discuss a player, but to ask 'should i do this trade or not?' is taking it to far!

I'm not so concerned about discussing a player, it is just when people ask whether it is a good idea to trade out a certain player for another.
You are all obvisously dedicated dt'ers (hence why you're on this site), so why ask if it is a good idea? You've done the research so you make the decision. I'm just think that all teams will be too similar!

But i see where you are at ong111- u gonna follow the pack and just make your team based on people's opinions?

Will1990- I'm not worried, i couldn't care less where u finish, but aren't u a little concerned that all teams will be alike?

well bloke let me just say, there are about 100-200 people hat are rego-ed onto this site i would say, correct me if im wrong... there are 300,000 teams rego-ed to the DT site... i wouldnt be too worried if 200 outa 300,000 have the exact same team as me... but all to there own i guess...

I have a feeling there is way more then 100-200 people that go onto this site and others such as dt talk. I have no figures, but my guess is that there would be over well over 1000 people that visit dt sites.

I get your drift hibbo, but think about it this way.

There are people already in a panic about Raines, Anthony etc and talking about trades. These same people will end up in a trading frenzy and have 0 trades left by R13!

Meanwhile, people like you and I will just relax, assess the situation and deal with it accordingly. Our teams will look nothing like theirs because we won't be racking up donuts in the latter rounds!

all the more reason to start getting into the online draft leagues such as www.ultimatefooty.com. next year these will become more mainstream because the are free and heaps more fun than salary capped fantasy. you can only have one player across the whole league, so each team is individual. and it is heaps of fun to trade with other coaches and the available players in the pool.
Premium DT can piss off if they expect people to pay for it. RIP off! Ultimate is free and based on the NBA style leagues with choice of either points or category scoring, and either head-to-head or roto leagues. TOOT TOOT

mate i agree. thsi is y i said the rate my team thingy was stupid cuz peple can just copy each other. they say its the trades that seperate the best from the rest, but its pretty piss easy to see who has good averages n trade rookies that are going to go up in price etc. but tevz i giv up on DT after scoring 1914, i am just looking to get a weekly prize its basically my only hope

so much for 100-200 registered users. on the home page there is a note saying that the 10,000th user registered in the last week of february. hibbo is spot on. you all claim to be knowledgeable about dt and the afl so make your own choices. asking questions about every trade you wish to make just makes you sound like an amateur.
