could this be the most interesting finals series for a long time??

from where i sit there seems to be 5 teams capapble of going well in the finals; geelong, saints, collingwood, dogs, hawks and the dockers as a dark horse. especially with the cats and saints losing on their games.

i can't even remember when it was ever this even going into the last few weeks. i still think the cats will win it.

anyone changed their mind on flag favourites????

Ablett not being used well might be the shink in their armour ;).

Freo might not be able to go the distance now that Barlow was gone. First year but was already leading their midfield. My Dark Horses are Doggies 8). They have a great allround team now.

The saints have the better draw out of the top four, geelong play the pies round 19 then the bulldogs the week after the top four will be set from that

Saints - Collingwood grand final

Bloody hell, just because HE cracks it doesn't mean he's right. The fact is when he goes into the forward line to rest he usually kicks a goal.
And NO, your NOT getting Bomber back :P

I agree spud. But this year I really don't think it matters where you finish in the top 4, the first game is gonna be hard. The main thing is to get IN the top 4. You will still need to win 15 games.

I'm trying to keep a lid on things - and I know the Magpies have a lot of work to do to get over Geelong especially - but they look hungry.

I'm not one of those supporters who think their team will win the flag every year, I'm always hopeful, but realistic. This is the first year since 2003 that I've thought Collingwood have been a honest-to-God shot at the flag.

After careful consideration this is how the top 4 will look in my opinion
1. Coll 17 1/2 wins
2. Saints 16 wins
3. Cats 15 wins
4. Doggies 14 wins
5. Freo 14 wins.
Doggies get in on percentage.

Is that if Collingwood beat Geelong?

Collingwood have some tough games and I think I allowed for 1 loss because they are the form team at the moment. They have to play Geelong, Adelaide and Hawthorn.

Geelong may falter a little bit as the finals approach because I believe Bomber may do as he did last year and try to rest some important players like he did last year with some success.
