would you think a trade down from waters to a. smith in wc is a good idea?

I have had Smith as my 9th back all year and he has really come into play now, but you should not do that trade, Waters should be kept.

Yep, good idea, Davis should either be upgraded or downgraded about now and Smith is perfect for that, you probably won't get many other rookies making their debut in the next few weeks, and then keeping their spot for the rest of the season. Whereas WCE are struggling so they will probably keep him playing.

I'm thinking of a similar trade - by my question is whether to trade Davis or Webberly. I think Davis' job security is much higher but Webberly scores better.

I'm thinking of downgrading B.Sheppard to Smith. Both from WCE. That would leave me Strijk @D8 and Smith @D9. Is it a risk having both bench players from WCE?.

I will be keeping Waters for now but one more bad week and I will have to pull the Trigger  ;) ;)

Personally, I have webberly and henderson on the bench down back. I think webberley can go for Smith. Will smith get a few more games ?

Hurn, Heath Shaw, Kennelly, Goddard, Duffield, Gilbee, Resies Waters, Nason.

Should I trade Waters to Smith to make the cash for finals? I have 4 trades left.
The only other guys I can make any money from is Gumby, Nason, Warnock. I need gumby as a forward resy as well.

Won't you have two WCE back benchmen if you keep Sheppard anyway? If they are both bench and scores don't really matter, only when you need some Job Security, so Smith would probably be about even with Sheppard for that so it is really up to you if you want to do it.

Ahh OK, I was just hoping that it could be another option instead of Waters to trade but alas it was not to be.

Kenelly could even be a chance for a downgrade above Waters? Just some food for thought...

yeah I certainly thought about downgrading kennelly, but his recent scores of 139 and 106 have made me think Waters is the best option.
