Disagree! Supporters who blindly follow there team without acknowledging deficiencies aren't real supporters

He'll be there next year Alex.
I know, but bloody hell, he is taking the club in the wrong direction, and for some reason they just keep on extending his contract.

The players have also got to take some of the blame guys. Things will be different next year

Mmm, sometimes I think our players don't have much faith in Matty Knights, then again, I don't blame them ::)

Gee, this is all very harsh. As I've mentioned before you guys all have very short memores!!

We've beaten the Saints twice this year, the WB once, Hawthorn once, Carlton once. How about a little faith in the team a well? They're a yound team exhibiting skill errors that let them down.

I'm amazed for a club with the history we have that we're so quick to try and get rid of them. We're not the Tigers or the Saints!! Just shows when you've had success, if you can't replicate it as the new coach its bye bye!! Wouldn't be like this if it had of been Hardwick, O'Donnell or Hird... :-\

Think it's the way how Sheed's left that has left a sour taste in the Bombers supporters mouth for sooooo long.

I say give him another season or two with the young side. If he can't push for the 8 within 2 seasons, he should be shown the door. We have a decent midfield, Good backs and a top notch Ruck tandem. Forwards still need work but should be right within a few seasons hopefully.

I'm slowly losing Faith in him... I still support the players a 100% (bar a few). The main thing is he's just a horrible match day coach! He does nothing when were losing literally NOTHING. What was he thinking putting Prismall on Judd?! and even after Judd had beaten him comprensively all night he didn't try someone else (Not for long anyway).... It's just common sense. Anyway I know he will be there next year so what I hope is that we get a few decent Assistants to help him out because he needs it!

CFC 1979

he's out
he's in
he's out
he's in
and finally - he's out

which one is it.
personally i think he won't be there next year

I don't know what to think... I don't want him to be there but I don't know if that means he will go lol. Prescott and Camporeale leaving makes it interesting as it may mean we are keeping him and getting better assistants. I'd prefer a total cleanout!

Fletch74

It won't happen. they'd be stupid to get rid of him. We made the finals last year, then lost 2 premium forwards, we have a very young list, thus need to gain experience... Tough draw plus a few injuries makes it tough too.

Give him a chance!! If we sack him then I will not support them. May as well spit on the coach like Tiger supporters do.

Just remember this, Geelong are by far the oldest team in the league according to the age profile in the sun on Friday, 27.6 yrs. ave age. Essendon are one of the youngest 23.5. (West Coast 23.1).
I realize that this is a bit over simplistic but 3 years ago when Geelong won in 2007 their average age would have been about 24.5, which is what Essendons will be next year.
That stat may mean nothing, or it could mean the Dons are about to open their "window".
As helly would say....keep the faith.
So far so good for you guys. If you can get over Carlton, I'd start getting excited :)

Haha, that ship has already sailed Bunyip! :P.
