i'm also torn with this decision. i have shuey and rohan on my bench and with gaj and bartel in my midfield i've got a feeling that i'm gonna need some cover.
like you said tho. job security is the problem. he may keep davis out of the side but brad dick is also gonna be a factor. afl injury list puts him at 1 week. you'd think he'd go to the seconds before coming into the seniors so i reckon if you pick up blair you're gonna get at least 2 weeks out of him.

Unless your desperate for a midfield emergency, I'd keep Gysberts over Blair. Likely to return this or next week and has a more solid spot in the team if Bailey is to continue putting game time into the kids.

im assuming you have already traded gysberts in for another rookie, dishing him out now for blair would be a complete waste IMO

I too am in this predicament. Only, i have Moles, Gysberts, JKT which means i am conceding a donut in the midfield every week. Think i will go Moles to Blair and in future weeks upgrade Gysberts (hopefully 200k) to Boyd as i should have enough room.

Leave JKT thre because he hasnt earnt me enough or should i offload him?

Where is Moles at currently?

Should i forget about Blair and just straight trade Moles for Goodes?

Then I can either trade Ziebell for a Fwd or swap Ziebell into the idfield for Goodesy and buy a Mid?
