Green has had a very underrated season. Look at these stats:

Averaging 21 disposals (14 kicks, 7 handballs), 7 marks and 2.5 goals a match. Kicked 36 for the year in a struggling team. 104 DT average, 99.5 SC average. And he is a match-winner for Melbourne.

Why wouldn't you pick him in the team?

Rascability

He has had a great season. I think he wont get picked because there are better players above him though. I agree he is under rated. I think Jamar has a good chance of being all Australian.

Green would get my vote. Dunno about Jamar, there's a few good ruckmen around at the moment.

valkorum

He has definitely had a good year - All Australian..... IMO No

Justin Bieber

Would make a decent Forward Flanker or Pocket this year. Been very consistent compared to other forwards this year.

If they can't fit him in there, should get a bench spot. Can't deny him as he has been a big help in Melbourne's rise.

Master Q

No Chance. Would Never. May look a little nice on paper.

SCADDICT

Yeah no chance whatsoever. He is consistent but he hardly ever dominates( the weekend being an exception). Not all australian material.

Justin Bieber

But with the rollercoaster form of some forwards, should at least get short listed at a minimum.

Indeed. Really, the smaller forwards are slim picking. He's been more consistent than Betts, Milne or Byrnes. Different player I know, but those are the guys he's competing against.

Green has 3 goals halfway through the first quarter... Geez I hope he gets nominated for All-Aus. Love my Tasmanians

SCADDICT

Still no chance, a few good games in a row won't get him to AA. And you would have to try and squeeze him in the AA forward line(hard to do this year) because there are better midfielders going around. Plus as you said he is underrated and will be overlooked for big name players from the better teams.

Justin Bieber

He'll be nominated but getting into the team would be the problem :(.

He hasn't had a bad game really, low SC score of 73 says he has been contributing all year.
