Carlton in 2010

After an insipid thrashing on the weekend I was wondering what people thought Carlton's outcome for 2010 is likely to be. Are they still a chance to win their first final in 10 years, has Ratten run his race or is the Setanta led forward line going to come good.

Carlton will finish in the 8 (I mean, who's gonna take the place?!) beat somebody in upset (Hawks, Dogs, Dockers) and then get smashed by a losing qualifying team.

It will be a great battle for 4th this year, Freo, the Dogs and Blues all up with fight. Reckon we will finish 5th with either Freo or Dogs at 4th, well play someone like Hawks and then there's the next match :P

If Carlton play Hawthorn, If I were the Carlton coach I'd pay someone to take the Hawthorn bus to the wrong ground. That's the only way they'd win ;D

Do you really think Carlton is comparable to Hawthorn at the moment? Let me remind you that you currently sit below the Swans on the ladder & were completely wacked on the weekend!

our last 4 games have bin dismal.. our disposal is hideous and our kicking on goal is just as bad. Has not been pleasant to watch lol. I think we'll cling to 7th or 8th and we then have the capability to cause an upset against any team (provided we turn up which is no guarantee atm..)

It's amazing how things just unravel. Carlton's smalls are impotent at the moment. They won games when they were playing well. It looks like some coaches have been doing some homework.

I really can't see Carlton not making the finals, as much as I'd like it to happen.

Collingwood 1st v Carlton 4th would be an awesome match up though. Won't happen.

Carlton will limp into the finals, but I'd be surprised if they do any good. They will probably finish 7th or 8th and will either have to play Freo in Perth or The Bullies or Hawthorn. Yuck!

Bullies will be harder then the other 2. It's their last year to have a chance, they'll go hard.

I know it's early days yet, and much can happen between now and the finals, but as things stand now I'd hate to have to play Freo in a home final in Perth. The loss of Barlow just MIGHT make the other players more determined to show that they can win without him.
