GAJ - Is he gone as Captain pick?

This is the 2nd week in a row and GAJ scores are killing me as captain.

Any 1 have any idea why his scores are so bad!  ::)

Seems to handball alot has he lost his mo jo  ???

Too many things going on in his mind. Trying too hard. Frustrated by his positional changes. Apparently upset when the leadership group or midfield group got together..

Maybe time to move on him.. but I expect him to bounce back.

GAJ is certainly gone as captain of Geelong and the coach knows it! Is he being punished by spending extended stints in the forward pocket - do they wheel him out through the midfield on a needs basis?

He'll have a few more blinders between now and end of season - but which rounds?

Captain - Do you go with Goddard (inj??) or Hodge, perhaps Franklin or Riewoldt in a couple of weeks? Hmmm

GAJ and Bomber had some frustrated words at qtr time, there is clearly some disharmony there. A move to the Gold Coast looks more and more likely (yikes!!)

Other players are scoring higher and more consistently than GAJ. Next week I will give captaincy to either Selwood, Goddard or Montagna.

Permanent Captain no more.
Week to week decision based on match ups/ opponents.
I have a choice of: Ablett, Swan, Judd, J Selwood, Goddard, Sandilands, Hodge, Pavlich or Pods the Skilled Stadium Specialist. ;D

Last week changed to Hodge and got burnt, this week went Goddard and ended up with GAJ's score anyway. Will not pick GAJ as C again for a while. Lots of players scoring lots more than him on a consistent basis

Yep a bit more thought is going to have to go into it now.  The days of GAJ being a lock for me are past.  For the rest of the season it is going to be a week to week propisition...

Swan, next 7 at the G, look at his second half scores from last year!

I had the (C) on him for the weekend but got spooked from all the hype of his 48 touches last time against Port and thought they would surely shut him down.

Also could not dispute GAJs record against Hawks!

yea gazza has been disappointing. vs the crows this week - yes ablett will remain as my captain. what is he still averaging 131??? he got the pill enough against the hawks. maybe it was geelong's gameplan to use handball more to break the lines as they really only had one big target for the game (Jpod). i think gaz went forward because of no mooney, tomahawk, stevie J??

Gave Goddard C this week, was celebrating when GAJ bombed as my opponent had him as C. Then, ofcourse Goddard folded and left me with my VC, GAJ :(

Though Goddard's abandonment was a blessing in disguise as it allowed my backup, Henderson, to bring his 136 onto the field, whilst my opponent was forced to deal with  Roberton's 23, and so gave me the victory.

I'm thinking GAJ is done as VC
