I hate to agree with you considering I need him to play this week, but it was well off the ball and subsequently 'not in play'. The illegality prolly means they'll punish him. Nasty for me considering I have Cloke, Hall and Frankiln. Almost certainly gonna be missing two of three of those forwards this coming week : S

Its been all pain with Buddy and Waite but at least they havn't both missed weeks at the same time LOL. When one comes in the other goes out!

Reckless or accidental?

Last week Tyson Slattery got off for whacking Vince across the face with a raise Elbow, it was deemed accidental as he was trying to tackle or spoil or something.

How is franklin's any different? Went to knock Lonergan off the kick and his arm makes contact across his body and slips up s lonergan falls down.

I hate to agree with you considering I need him to play this week, but it was well off the ball and subsequently 'not in play'.

Not in play? It wasn't even that late, IMO it was a down field free at best, but then it really wasnt that late.

Reckless, regardless of whether it was accidental or not. they suspend people for putting themselves in those situations time and time again, and Buddy seems to do it

Defiantly accidental, the arm slide up. The only thing he did which was wrong was how late the contact was which isn't reportable but rather a free kick. An ump missing a free kick doesn't mean a week.

Owwww big blow to many, but not me! I have been regretting or not getting him but now this convinces me I wasn't that stupid. Real bummer though, cos I love watching him play and he is so pivotal to the Hawks with the form he is in, but I reckon they will still cope and play very well even without him.
