I thought I post something different, away from the Barlow trading discussions!
What Second Ruckman should people have going into finals?

DevilsReject

Hmmm...plenty of good picks but no great picks.

I voted Jolly because he has found some form and Collingwood will want to make sure they secure a top 4 spot.

I currently have McIntosh as my second ruckman and while he has been a bit disappointing he still puts out solid scores.

I wouldn't touch Clark or Leunberger at this stage.

Tippett has come good but Adelaide still aren't a great team. Very usefull for MPP though.

Cox and Hille shouldn't be selected due to injury clouds and Cox may end up being rested.

Jamar is good but doesn't score high enough often enough. Nic Nat is too young and simply not good enough.

Goldstein and Mumford are real wildcards that are capable of the big scores. Not sure I would pick them but they could prove to be the difference in some DT games.

Ryder is probably a solid enough choice but overall Jolly has to appeal more.

well said Devils..

think i have narrowed down to choice of 3

mumford
jolly
ryder..

think these stand up pretty convincingly against the rest.

to me - I do like Jolly after finally seeing him hit some real form last week, but I would pick Ryder.  Scores super consistently, and did so with and without Hille..

elephants

i think jolly too but would he be worth a look next year?

Barlow is not listed as a ruckman ;)

why Cox ?

been really dissappointing this year, and even if fitter next year, will be sharing ground time with Nic Nat even more so than this year....

think he might be consistent - but only consistently average....

Holz

this is about going into the finals this year, not next year

hardnut

I see the choice as Cox, Ryder or rampant specuation. Cox has been down but still will get >80 most weeks. Once Hille comes back it will effect Ryder's role but maybe not his score.
I'd go Cox (and did)

agreed boy.
said that this time last year

Jolly seems a good pick but i he might not score as well if Fraser comes back.
Fraser shouldnt come back but i think he will later on in the year

yeah mick said that jolly wouldnt be going solo towards the end of the year, this will effect jolly's scores
just because jolly has had two good weeks dont trade him in

Sharker18

find it interesting how everyone's been bagging cox all year. He's still the 3rd highest scoring ruckman!
