I'm obviously trading Barlow out but with the money in my bank, I might do another trade, trade Hall (who has a very high BE this round) to a gun FWD.

So my options are:

Barlow/Hall -----> Boyd/Harvey

OR

Barlow/Hall -----> Ablett/Harvey

OR

Barlow/Hall -----> Simpson/Didak

4 trades and $49400 in the bank.

A straight swap to Boyd will be good because Boyd score high and is consistent and a Hall to Boomer trade isn't too bad but the Roos have an alright run last few games (Sydney, Richmond, Essendon, WB. Freo, St. Kilda, West Coast and Melbourne).

GAJ trade is straight forward. He's Ablett.  ;D

If I trade Barlow to Kade Simpson, then I would have 100k odd in the bank. Kade doesn't score as much as Boyd and GAJ but is consistent in getting high scores and the odd 120+ (but score 90-110's consistently) Then, I'll trade Bazza to Didak and would still leave some $$$ left in the bank, about 50k odd.

whats the rest of your team like ?

dcmagadia21

DEF: Goddard, Hodge, Duffield, Waters, Harbrow, Shaw, Davis
        Maguire, Heath

MID: Swan, Montagna, Chapman, Bartel, Barlow, Watson
        Gysberts, Shuey

RUC: Sandilands, Cox
         Warnock, Roughead

FWD: O'Keefe, Pavlich, Giansiracusa, Hall, Podsiadly, Franklin, Henderson
          Brown, Hitchcock

Slap

From memory, Boyd has a tough run home, and is playing his worst teams.

Didak Id also prefer, he has a high score ceiling and has had a reasonably consistent year, relative to other forwards..

If you cant afford a combo  of players, perhaps wait a week or two to trade up.

id say do the simpson dids one then
simpson extremely consistent
and dids has been amazing past few weeks

After the double trade, leaving me with 2 trades left, my team would look like this:

DEF: Goddard, Hodge, Duffield, Waters, Harbrow, Shaw, Davis
        Maguire, Heath

MID: Swan, Montagna, Chapman, Bartel, Simpson, Watson
        Gysberts, Shuey

RUC: Sandilands, Cox
         Warnock, Roughead

FWD: O'Keefe, Pavlich, Giansiracusa, Didak, Podsiadly, Franklin, Henderson
          Brown, Hitchcock

I could also use the Dual Positioning with Dids, ROK, Pav and Chappy which will be very handy if cover is needed in each area (FWD and MID).  ;D

Jimbo_11

your team looks pretty solid and once maguire and brown are back you should be set for the season (barring injuries) :)

RiOtChEsS

how about simpson and boomer both incredibly durable :P

dcmagadia21

is boomer better than dids though? i am looking for the best possible scores from these players that i'm trading in. so i think that dids will score more than boomer.  :)

Dids will probably score more yes, has had a very underrated year.

dcmagadia21

is it really wise to get GAJ for Barlow in the long term?

ossie85

Ain't much long term left. I think so. In fact, I'll be doing it.

dcmagadia21

if i'll get GAJ, i'll get boomer with him because i can't afford dids after the trade.

dcmagadia21

or is it better instead of trading hall out, trade jobe out for simpson? or is that more of a sideways?

ossie85

Really should try to avoid trading out players who are being named - especially with Hall and Jobe scoring well enough.
