i think what the problem is when trying to select the team is even though you get the same amount of money to spend as the premierleague one the defenders in this game cost far more which means you can't spend much on the other players

Got to be pick a few cheapies. I've picked 1 cheap guy to start in each position to give me some extra cash to get about 2 solid backs and 3 solid midfielders. 3 cheap forwards (about 6 or 7 mil) will hopefully pay off as all 3 are known to score goals and assists.
