A crap game, crap umpiring, and crap commentary. To make it worse, it was delayed. For Thursdays to work it must be live. Delayed telecasts really give me the irrates (i still watch them though)! Fridays peeve me too because they are delayed. And Bruce McAvaney drives me nuts with his constantly praising and flowery comments. Grrrr.
Maybe I'm just turning into an old grump. >:(

all the AFL have to do is schedule 2 Friday night games if they want another time slot.

easy fix: 1 friday night game in Melbourne each week, and the other rotates between the interstate clubs.

I like that idea.  The Thursday and Monday night games can only work if they are live and not delayed.  Here in Perth the game didnt start till 9pm (which is 11pm EST).  The game was well and truely over.... what a crock

Agreed, it has to been show Live. I don't mind 2 Friday Night games, but I'm still backing Monday Night Football. Gets HUGE crowds, and when shown live, Huge Ratings.
