Hunt - No Position Yet.

Seems to me as Hunt still hasn't found a position yet, he's played 3 games, First in the Forward Line, in his 2nd, Back. Not very good signs IMO.

GOLD Coast recruit Karmichael Hunt will continue to find his feet as a defender this week with coach Guy McKenna naming him to start at full back against the Box Hill Hawks on Saturday.

"I thought he did really well, a good and disciplined effort really, so we thought we'd give him another go to work further on his body control and positioning and apply a few lessons learned," assistant and defensive coach Shaun Hart told the club's website.

Would you expect someone switching codes to a completely different sport to have already found a set position for the time spent playing in the AFL?

Clearly they're still experimenting, which doesn't indicate "bad signs".

Playing him down back will help him learn the tricks of the trade for playing up forward as well, so don't write him off just yet.

Down back learning the ropes & being the front page news at this stage to rub it in to the NRL & IF GAB "Does" join then slowly back out of the limelight & concentrate getting on with the learning of the game.

He is certainly looking to play 20 games or more ???
