Player form and team inclusions are some indicators for DT selection and trading. What about personal differences, lifestyle choices, assistant coach preferences?
I mean for example-if Neil Craig knew that Scott Thompson was going to GC what role would he give him each week, if any. Crows are not going to play finals as aren't 7 other teams, however there will be similar GC bound players in those squads.
On the flipside-Bomber Thompson would be wanting to get every bit out of his star GAJ as they search for another title, as would all other coaches in the final 8 and their GC bound players.
Putting up a hypothetical positional team list for GC may help our planning for next year and trading for this year as the uncertainty on player futures grows.

News again tonight on Adelaide radio involved Scott Thompson, Patrick Dangerfield and David Mackay.

MIDS - S Thompson (3rd or 4th), D Mackay (5th or 6th)

FWDs _ P Dangerfield (6th or 7th) MPP?

GAJ is number 1 MID target, but who else should we consider as this must weigh on the minds of team selectors and on the players around them.
Paranoia is a massive weight to lug around ;)

how do see their roles play out this year under Woosha's youth policy and if indeed they are gone will he put more time into others?

i think that andrew stijk could find a spot in the forward line as a small crumbing forward along with hams and lecras. i think it is about time gerick weedon wqas given a crack. h was taken quite high in the draft (pick 21, barlow pick 22) and he has to give west coast something surely.

Justin Bieber

Harbrow. Maybe from his running half back/midfield role could change into a Back pocket role perhaps.

McRooster

So GC is looking like...

BACKS - A. Strijk (MPP), J. Harbrow

MIDS - S. Thompson, D. Mackay

FWDS - P. Dangerfield, Q. Lynch, B. McKinlay

Ruck division looks like getting a few donuts. Brogan perhaps?

Any Lions players going to travel down the GC highway and affect Vossies team structure and selection this year?

Justin Bieber

I'm thinking Clark but have nothing to back it up ;D. Also the same feeling for Sherman.

But nothing to back it up ;D. Just Gut instinct ;).

Clark has only beaten his average of last year in one round this year. Having your eyes on a bigger prize can can cause you to lose focus!

HTM

From Melbourne: Petterd
From Carlton: Hampson & Grigg

bailey-n

has been talk of rischitelli from lions going. They unsuccessfully used him as trade bait for fevola last year.

Master Q

Stupid Rischetelli stopped us from getting Bradshaw!

+1!!!!
been saying all year to give weedon a crack in our forwards! need some more spark down there, guys who are hungry and mckinley just doesnt seem to bother unless he is given a ball lace out to him 20m from goal!
this wuld free up lecras to go into the midfield as i think he shud, i mean woosha likened him to GAJ, well play the bloody bloke in the guts!!!!

strijk shud get a running half back role as he has a potent kick on him! hurn on one side strijk on the other wuld be great and have waters as a floating back pocket, i like that setup!!
