What to do with Jackson Trengove?

Sell for a Dirt Cheap Player
Keep As Cover

Slap

Jackson Trengove.  He has been good for me when Hille went down for a couple of weeks, but in the mean time, I have recruited in Cox.

My ruck division looks like:
Cox, Clarke (Trengove/Warnock)

My bench combination, is quite similar to alot of DT'ers out there aswell...

So my question is, Trengove has done his job, Clarke and Cox should hopefully stay all season, Warnock may come back with kruezer out.  And Trengove is starting to plummet in cash with a BE over 80.

Do I sell for a 77k ruckmen and pocket the 130k.  That cash will be vital going into the final rounds for my last changes to ultra premiums.

What are your thoughts.. and who is the ruckmen you'd downgrade to?

Justin Bieber

If you think Warnock can get a gig and you really hope that those 2 can stay on field for the rest of the year, get a 77k nobody.

I like having cover around the grounds (saved me for Hmac) as you never know when you need it. He is good cover as he should play out the year unless rested for a week or two. But if you need the cash could probably be one of the first to go.

I understand the importance of bench cover.. but its the issue of his declining worth that made me raise the question.  Come round 18 and Im doing my finals upgrades,, I dont want to cash him in and only get 50k, instead of the 130k i could right now!

If you feel that you need cash, go for it. Shouldn't gain much more cash than now i suppose.

Just saying in past years, Cox has been known to be rested by the Eagles.

best garrantee that warnock will get the job over hampson then a possibility
how many trades left

bundyboy

i have both warnock and trengove - and am very happy to be keeping them both at the moment.

yes his value might drop now, but remember he played well enough for his value to go up first !!!  so I would fully expect him to be solid enough for the remainder of the year to get back close to the $$ he is worth today after a bit of a poorer spell.

if you really want to make just $70k and burn a trade - go for it, but not worth it IMO

Slap

firstly, I am indifferent between the two options..

but, 70k gain?  he is priced at 200k.  if I downgrade to a rock bottom ruckmen at 77k, thats a 125k gain..  a pretty decent addition to my wallet IMO.

Your on it Slap.Boot him and take the cash

RiOtChEsS

just like any player there is a rise and fall, he could well take an upward turn b4 finals making it a bit more of a clear cut decision 4 u, i was thinking he was deadweight after 4 rounds (40 15 27 50) for a gain of 20k, fastforward to round 7 he comes back and rips off 70 60 73 79 and has risen 130k...

thats rubbish.

he played 13 games last yr before being struck down with OP.
he played all 22 in 08
he played every rd from 8 to the SF in 07
missed 14-18 in 06 but played every other rounds through to the GF.

he only misses when serious injury
