So it's that time again, the split round, when not a lot is happen. Most of us have gone through over half of our trades, and some of us only have a hand full remaining.

I've been playing this game for a number of year's now, and after every season there's always a few trades and a few things that I wish I had of done differently and listened to my gut intinct. You read it on here all the time about certain players and how coaches have been sucked in by them time and time again, and they swear they'll never pick them again.

I thought now would be a great chance to run through some of the silly trades you have done. Whether it was to avoide a donut at the time but didn't work out in the long run, or maybe you jumped on a much hyped player at the start of the season which you weren't too sure about, but you did just because everyone else was. Or maybe it was to do with you structure at the start of the season..... Everyone has atleast one, in most cases more.........

Here are mine:

- I should have taken more risk's at the start of the season with the guys coming back from injury down back with the likes of Waters and Malceski.

- I shouldn't have jumped on Hughes after just one game just to avoide a donut.

- I shouldn't have had Adcock in my initial team as he has been massive injury prone in the past.

I shouldn't have traded Mitch Clark for Seaby but happy that I traded Seaby for Cox (even though I had a $14k loss on Seaby)

Reiwoldt to Brown - should have upgraded to Chappy (with hindsight of course)

I shouldnt have picked Lockyer from the start of the year but very happy downgrading him to Fyfe

Happy with trade of Hitchcock to jPod (when jPod was on bubble)

I did exactly the same and it has worked out well in the end.

That captain loop hole was a killer! Hodge as vice was a flop....  ::)

i wouldnt have had roo (cpt) the week he got injured when i was ranked 260th overall.

And i wouldnt have jumped on seaby. i went roughead to seaby then seaby to cox. (at the start i took a risk and started warnock so i could afford chappy, it was a last min decision)

i am now rocking cox & sandi but it cost me 2 trades

you obviously missed chappy's 13 tips in 13 min friday arvo. 'tip 1, do not put Hodge VC he struggles against the bombers!'

I thought your catain had to be subb with emg player not playing so that limited me to Hodge! That advice was wrong too! araaa

ps I know you didn't say that! lol

Plenty of people jumped on Seaby once he had that great score early on. After that he faded massively which then came to a sudden hult with his injury.

-shudnt of traded hille to seaby round 3
-shudve started with trengove instead of ball as i went ball to mckenzie then mckenzie to montagna (culdve just gone trengove to montagna)
-shudnt of started with lecras then shudnt of traded lecras to brown afta round 1 (looked good at first with a 130 score but then faded to his ultimate demise with that injury then out)
-shudnt of started with medhurst then shudnt of traded him to rioli
-wish id picked up bastinac instead of banner
-shudve taken the donut week 6 when i traded martin to JKT to avoid it then mitchell missed anyway n JKT never got another game
-starting with roo was inevidable but was happy with my trade to chappy
-probably shudve started with either swan, ablett or montagna instead of stanton or mitchell
-wish id gone for carrazzo instead of heater
-wish id risked daisy at the start of the year, likewise pavlich

getting it off the chest does nothing lol ::)

on the flipside happy with waters, eski, barlow, pods, rockliff, sandi, hodge and goddard (swapped him IN for gram last second before final lockout preseason)
