QuoteThe last post I made is more the likely situation, and then you would change it to Swan if Hodge goes badly.  But I pretty sure that this time around it will be circumstatial, and there will be lots of teams unable to do it becuase of not having non-playing 2nd week players if that makes sense?
Looked at your first post, and yes we do think the same way. Both Got the same plan. I have Joel Corey and I think the cats play week 2.

QuoteMaster Q- No that wouldn't work, because that non-playing emergency would then get your Captaincy and you would then score a 0 as your captain.

Ok so it does work, I think that's what I'll be doing.

In theory, haha.  We're all screwed if Hodge plays shower and we can't move the C in the 2nd week.  So maybe your plan is better, put a non-playing 2nd week scrub on the field, but leave the C on Swan, move it to the scrub if Hodge does well.

Davoo

riskyyyy. i just gonna put bartel as captain.

Master Q

You got it wrong jvalles. Corey is (E). Swan (C). Corey comes on for Swan, Captaincy moves to Hodge, Corey doesn't play, Swan comes on.

jvalles

My only options for this are Ricky Henderson and Phil Davis, if they both play then I cannot pull it off.

So Swan (C), then you move Swan to (E) so that Corey comes on for Swan in the (C) position?  That will be the way to do it if we can't change captain that 2nd week, but if we can then it doesn't matter.

If thats the case then I could only do this in my backs or Forwards as I don't have a mid bench to use.

Davoo

i think i get it now.

for example: i put shuey on the field and bartel as C on the bench. I put the VC on someone who is playing week 1 and then if the VC plays good, thats where im confused. i dont know what happens after that.

Leave Bartel on the bench and you will just get his emergency score for Shuey.  If Hodge plays shower, then sub Bartel back in for the 2nd week and he will have the C on him. :)

Davoo

and if hodge plays good, how do i put the C on him?

Master Q

Ok I Will Go Through It For The Last Time.

Hodge (back) as Vice. Swan as Captain. Hodge scored 150+, so I take Swan off for Corey who is an Emergency, leaving Corey as Captain and Swan as Emergency. Corey does not playing, making Hodge Captain. As Corey doesn't play Swan will come on.

Davoo your way will not work.

Q is correct, the only risk is if you need an actual emergency for a separate late withdrawal

Yes that is the only risk. That's how you do it, or at least the only way I know, and if it isn't the only way, then the best way ;)

Davoo

okay, i get it. so i have to have the emergency not playing at all so i get (in my case) bartels score. and my vice will get the captaincy. oh how confusing, thanks. i just hope both my vice and captain get good scores! im confident my midfield wont have a late withdrawal!

Master Q

To be honest, 75% can't do it the way we have talked about, because of playing benchies.

Davoo

ive got shuey and hes surely out! hopefully.
