Split Round FAQ

The player you wish to default with as your C must be on your playing field but have no chance of playing and be from a team that is playing next week.
Remember to emergency your regular player that you have sent to the bench.
This will open the door for Hodge to remain C if he scores well.
If not then you may switch C between players who remain for the round and on your playing field.

A lot of coaches this week going for Hodge who doesn't traditionally rip it against the Hawks, Boyd for VC for me (Gibbs if I had him) with Playfair C.(Rockliff Bench)
If Boyd scores below 115 then Swan gets the C.

i know everybody is goin hodge for the loophole VC but his record against the bombers is crap.

i put 2 up yesterday and pros kept moving them
the first time ive actually seen a post on the DT forum explaining it

There is plenty of threads around about this, but basically....

If you choose Hodge as you VC then select GAJ/Goddard as your C you can change your C next week.  If Hodge rips it up and you want his score as C then you put GAJ/Goddard to the bench and then put on a non playing player (has to be from a team that is playing in the second week) and put the C on them.  If your VC stinks it up then just select your C as normal from the remaining available players.

and pray to god that non playing player isnt a late call up

Teams will be announced as normal next Thursday/Friday for the remaining 3 games of the split round so you will know who is in and who is out
