Brown!?

You guys have short memories! How good was Jonathan Brown in the first 5 or 6 weeks?  I'll admit that if he doesn't come back well, he won't make the team - and will be replaced at full forward by either Franklin, Pods or Hall. But this was for the first half the year, not predicted!

Fletcher's been overrated this year Hilly, has had a lot of goals kicked against him, and keeps getting suspended.

Jack Riewoldt would have to be one of the front runners at the moment. To be ontop of the Coleman in the bottom side is a huge effort. He is my All-Australia full forward.

Yeah, I have Jackaroo in my team but at CHF. All about team balance I'm trying to find :)

ossie85

40 people make the All-Aus short list.... 12 Defenders, 12 Forward, 16 midfield/ruck

So, my nominations? Several players unlucky to miss out (Enright, Milne) - and I've tried to base it on a number of stats - contested possession, 1%ers, tackles and such.

Mumford over Jolly by a fair margin... Jolly had a slow start to the year and Mumford has been in red hot form for the majority of the year...

ossie85

Mumford v Jolly
Games: 17 v 17
Average Kicks: 3.8 v 6.5
Average Handballs: 9.2 v 6.0
Average Disposals: 13.0 v 12.4
Average Marks: 2.4 v 4.9
Scoring: 3.3.21 v 17.7.99
Average Tackles: 4.8 v 2.3
Average Hit-Outs: 26.0 v 21.7

Very close stats wise - what pips Jolly over Mumford is his marking and goal-scoring. 17 goals versus 3 is significant.

Boomz

hm... to me it seems that Mummy has more Impact on games but I see where your coming from too so it is pretty close actually.
