Martin upgrade options - who to chose?

Hey all,

Looking to upgrade Martin this round, before a bunch of targets get too expensive. I know Martin is likely to go up after this round, but they're all going up by more  ::)

My current Midfield is Ablett, Swan, Watson, Barlow, Selwood and Martin. I have 10 trades left and would be dumping Trengove (PA) for the cash.

My current options are Montagna ($550,500 - ave 116), Murphy ($515,400 - ave 111) and Simpson ($501, 400 - ave 108).

I can afford all three, but grabbing Montagna will use up all my spare cash and leave me none for upgrades later. I have some holes in my forward line I'll need to fix at some point.

So...who do you think I should get? Is spending the extra 35k for Montanga worth it?

Montagna.  Not knowing what your team looks like....I would think you could fix your forwards with the other trades you have left.

If you wanna hold onto cash, Goodes is the man to get. I'd be very surprised if he didn't finish near the top of the league.

If you look at his history he has a habit of saving his best til the end of the year.

If you want to get the most premium upgrade, go for Montagna. Simpson and Murphy will both let you down from time to time, far rarer with Montagna.

You get what you pay for,  35k extra to get Montagne over the others might mean an extra 100pts for the rest of the season

montagna is your man. Worry about your forward line in the next few weeks or whenever you need to.  This will be your last upgrade in the midfield, so you should be aiming for the top.
