For a million a year he would want to win the coleman straight up..... I think this is a little unfair to any elite AFL player who has played their entire life and cannot earn that much...... only can happen because of the special treatment these new clubs are getting doesn't make sense to pay an untried inferior player more than an elite superstar

his match payments will probs be the same has any normal player, its his non-player payments that make his salary so inflated, he is mainly a marketing tool which will be good for the game, its like getting kobe or le bron to play afl, ur buying the goodwill (branding) surrounding the player rather than his afl attributes.

i really dont think he is worth the money basically he is just being paid to steal rugby supporters i dont see that happening, i would rather spend the extra million on an afl superstar like ablett surely if they offered him like 2 mil he couldnt say no, Folau will bring in a couple of supporters initially but if they make a succesfull team they will get far more supporters they should be othering the 1 mil to guys like Gibbs, Murphy, Kruez, Nic Nat
