I just read that he has actually decided (finally) to go.
Money speaks all languages I s'pose.
Personally I have no hard feelings toward Gazza, he's been a great player for us.
he's decided that it's time to move on, so we have to as well.
Maybe now we can keep Dkerkurra, he might get a game next season :)

As the ol saying goes 1 door closes an another opens.

Throw a spanner if Dkerkurra does stay as would be on a few clubs radar.

I think it's trade week next week isn't it? If Djerkurra has decided to try his luck elsewhere (and who blames him) we might get a good deal from someone to replace Gazza. Remember he doesn't have to be as good as the son of God, someone like Houli would be sweet. He's a top player I think, and by all accounts is available.

roo boys!

You get two first round pick, gotta be good :D Especially with the age in the squad at the moment, two young stars would be really beneficial.

It said in the Addy the other day they were looking at a mature age  (21yrs) rookie. I don't disagree with that, why not pick someone who might be AFL ready.

Is a good idea to try and find a Barlow to help keep Geelong at the top for a few more years.

Agree, I doubt if we'll pick up someone with Barlow's class. We do have a few rookies that show some promise though, as do all teams I guess.
