You've probably gotta make at least 1 trade in each area as in upgrade trades, but you need to make some money. You need to downgrade Kennelly. You missed the boat on the nason- webberley trade unlucky. I would look for a downgrade for kennelly and probably gumbleton. That should free up some cash for an upgrade in the backs and then upgrade in the mids.

Yes I have some upgrading to do.

Will do Kennelly to Roberton if Roberton is named.

campbell heath from sydney might be someone you can look at, he's played 2 games and should  have a few more in him.

your midfield looks decent, however it looks a little weak with m.mcveigh. martin is pretty close to peaking in value, so a possible trade u can look at is a double (martin and mcveigh) out for a rookie (gysberts from melb looks good) and the extra money can go towards upgrading to another premium mid (bartel, boyd, m.murphy, dal santo etc) are all pretty good value.

hope that helps

placidlake

oh yeh... in regards to campbell heath trade for kennelly, i forgot to say u can upgrade possibly p.davis to a premium as well (duffield, gilbert, h.shaw etc.) are pretty good value.

if so ur team might look something like this....

hodge, goddard, gilbee, enright, gilbert, waters, maguire

ablett, barlow, pendlebury, j.selwood, dal santo, gysberts

looks much better  ;D

Any thoughts on what I should do to my team?

I will do Kreuzer to Sandi next week and then do a backline upgrade with the remaining cash either next week or the week after.

I could do: Nason to a cheap prem. (grundy, Bock, ?Grimes?, Hurn, Harbrow, H.Shaw, Carazzo)

And then in the next few weeks once all my guys are back from injury I will upgrade Maguire to a full blown premium!

Cheers

P.S who should I get in the Nason trade?

I dont need this post to be answered until friday but thoughts would be great.

enzedder

Newman...unique pick who can score big most weeks

roo boys!

Nason to Grimes or as enzedder said, Newman.

If my calculations are correct ... I could get Cox instead of Sandi and then be able to upgrade Nason to either Heater or Grimes (thoughts on that please)

Then next week get the other one out of Heater or Grimes (?HOPEFULLY?)

I hope that Cox comes back to his form in recent years, I think he has full fitness now so there are no excuses.

Who should I get out of Heater or Grimes this week and who to get out of them two the next. I need the most points per game as I have a tough opponent this week so basically who will score more out of Grimes or Heater this week (Rnd 14)

and

Should I get Sandi and not be able to upgrade Nason until Grimes falls down to around 380,000

OR

get another ruckman e.g Cox or Jolly or Clark and be able to do some good upgrading

So my questions are who to get out of Grimes and Heath Shaw and also what ruckman to get?

Cheers

Good plan, Cox will probably be worth the cheaper price than Sandilands and will hopefully score 100+ every week from now. Out of Heater or Grimes....Grimes will be the safe choice but if you are willing to ride the Shaw ride, it can pay off when he scores a match winning 140 score. So it depends who you want to get first, if you are playing a hard opponent this week that should be a close game, you can't afford a 40-50 from Heater. But if you are an almost certain win then your overall ranking could be boosted if Heater scores 120+ and probably can afford to take a hit if he gets a low score. So I would go Grimes for the tough game you mentioned you had this week.

P.S Are you feeling bored? Go vote and/or nominate yourself for the Fanfooty Personality Of The Year down in the front bar . Anyone can enter if they want to . Scroll down the main page of the forum down to front bar. Then search for the thread labelled as the above. Hope a few more voters appear .

i made a couple of changes last round...

Out: Maguire and Kreuz

In: Duffield and Cox

my team is now:

Goddard Hodge enright gilbee duffield waters P.davis
ablett J-sel pendles barlow Martin M.Mcveigh
Cox Tippett
Pav ROK harvey hall goodes higgins hithcock brown gumby

I have 134700k and 8 trades left

What should I do this week??

roo boys!

Well Barlow is an immediate trade, probably for Swan or Montagna or Judd.

Then with so much cash in hand, McVeigh, Martin and Phil Davis all need to be upgraded, as they are all starting which is a worry. In regards which order to do this then consult their breakevens, so...

         McVeigh                         Martin                     Davis
B/E 112                                85                           44
Ave   77                                    78                           60
