1-5 team needs desperate help to make finals :-[

hey guys, after being in the top 2000 after the first 3 weeks, it has all downhill (bad trades, injuries, suspensions, under-performances etc.)from there, going 0-5 and only managing to win first league game last week.  :(

Just wanted some help/tips to help me make finals (cash and pride at stake).
ATM, my tactic is to use a lot of trades to strengthen my team as i need to win games desperately... and come finals (if i make it), my team holds together (please god...)

so yeh, need all the help i can get, thanks guys.

How the flower have you lost 5 games with that side thank God i am not in your league.
Look at getting Sandi or Cox for Mumford in your rucks.

wow, not much to work with with 8 trades. You need to get rid of Hall I think and Ballantyne... Maybe this week do Gumby to Watts/Playfair and then Hall to maybe Goodes, ROK or someone higher. Then next week you have to get rid of Ballanspud but we will take that when it comes.

hmm, was thinking of downgrading gumbleton as well but not sure to go for watts or playfair. upside of watts being a young no.1 draft pick will get a good run in a developing melbourne side, however playfair is more than $30k cheaper, and wud really like the extra $$, but what a bout his job security?

and yeh, ruck is pretty weak and was also looking at cox and sandi. cox is hitting some good form and is rising in value fast and sandi scored in the 80s last week which will cause a slight decrease in his value. however need handfuls of cash to afford them.

hmm, where else can i look to for downgrades to free up more cash? man... it sucks having f*** all trades left :(

Jetta would be one who needs to be downgraded soon or he will start leaking money.

yeh jetta is one, i also have nason and rockliff and even howlett.

however won't be able to downgrade all of them as i wont have any trades left to upgrade.... haha funny game this is

i've been researching the other teams in my league and ive kinda concluded that to beat them, i need a side with numerous amounts of different players, cos everyone, as well as myself already have goddard, hodge, judd, pav etc. the majority have ablett and sandi (whom i dont), and because im already behind the 8 ball i cant beat them by just matching them. thats why i have guys like boyd, montagna, duffield, carrazzo etc. who arent as popular. i also noticed not many have chapman, so i really want him in my side but obviously, he's a little pricey :(

Don't get rid of Hwlett for at least 2 weeks. Allow that 120 to do it's work ;) :D

yeh definitely!! was enjoying every one of his effective touches on saturday night  ;D

at this rate, with trades running out, he might have to stay put as the 6th midfielder, unless i come up with something spectacular!! (which i highly doubt  :(
