15 trades left and $86K in bank.

My first year and wanted to be in top 10% but I;ve been as low as 3,000 and want to try and get back in top 10,000. (17,000 at present)

My forwards are my issue. Not one hit 100 last round.
Want opinions on best way to get some decent scorers in there and possibly who?
Was thinking I could trade either hall or medhurst this week and bring in goodes and then next week do the double trade by downgrading basti or martin and upgrade gumby or danger to pavlich?

Started the year ok averaging 2250 but have been on a downhill slide for a couple weeks with 2 sub 2000 scores. The mids look ok but not sure I have to get the whole team in a good state by finals.

Midfield line is almost set (martin left to upgrade) with rucks probably set (unless you have enough trades left over to upgrade nicnat).

The back 3 in the backline could get upgraded soon (kennelly if out for long) but as you said, forwards look fairly weak. Can tell your an essendon supporter from last 3 ;D.

I would look to do at least 1 or 2 downgrades this week, probably up forward. Can't have that much cash in danger and medhurst sitting on the pine. Rather make a few 100k's from 2 trades. Have a few forward downgrade options which is good :).

I understand the part in having money on the bench not being ideal but you have suggested to do a downgrade or two this week.
You saying I should play another round with the forward line I have?

I was a bit scared of getting belted in my match next week so wanted to try and get a forward in this week averaging over 100. Maybe if hall gets weeks upgrade him to goodes and downgrade gumby or danger and next week could upgrade a hurley,monfries,medhurst to another premium?

Then do your plan if you are for a downgrade should be done for an upgrade (that's what i normally do).

Heard hall didn't get any weeks. Just suspended (unless the second charge got him). Watts and Playfair are on the bubble this week. After this week can only think of Wona (who is more pricey). That's why i suggested 2 downgrades unless you think it'll tip your team a bit too much for 1 week. Your plan sounds just as good but reckon Hall could stay and trade out Danger instead. Danger has been coping a slight tag past few weeks in which he isn't coping well.

ahh yes I see where you are coming from now. I looked at the bubble list and watts and playfair are both cheap.
Im 5-1 in league so can cop a loss and still have a finals run.
