i've got knights and krakour at the moment but thinking of downgrading krakour to hentschel and upgrading to k cornes??
i've got ziebell and m brown on the bench so could rotate the 3 cheepies accordingly?
what do u guys reckon??
i'm bit suspect with krakour...

this is the last piece of the puzzle for my dream team!! the rest is locked in so any advice welcomed

Hentschel and Kornes. i can't see Krakour averaging more than Hentschel and Kornes is a consistently solid performer

shog

I can see Krakouer averaging quite a lot more than Hentschel.

Hentschel isn't capable of averaging much more than 60 people.

reconfig

i disagree shog, a bit more fitness and he can get to the 70s average

Uncle

shog- spot on mate. at his prime, which i reckon he's past, hentschel averaged 60..

robpaw

Yeah he averaged 66 in '06, 63 in '05...

This Krakouer v. Hentschel thing is doing my head in.. Not comfortable with Geary in defence so just upgraded him to Adcock (who'll play more in midfield), using ~$60k cash and by downgrading Krak to Hentschel..

Krak did very well in the last 2 NAB Challenge games (98 and 106) but will he average >70 throughout the year??

Have never liked Hentschel. Even in his prime (think he's 27-28 now?) he never set the DT world alight. But his price of $110.6k (implied average 27.7) is tempting if he is going to play a lot (sounds like he will from Craig's comments). And if Hentschel averages 60 thats a good little profit.. and identical upside to Krak if Krak averages 75).....

............

billy

yeah well hentschel doesnt really do much for me either but i'll have to downgrade elsewhere to get rid of him. at 122k i think his value will rise so probably worthy as any cheapie in the forward line? i have m brown and ziebell on the bench so between them 3 i'm guessing i can rotate them and upgrade when their values rise!! i dont see any cheap forwards lighting the world on fire this yr...

If you boys don't know how to read form in the statistics, that's fine by me.  Don't pick up Hentschel, please.

robpaw

I won't, Ziebell is a much better option than Trent - cheaper and way more upside...

On Krak (from Port assistant coach Primus): "Kraks found his spot in the pre-season as a backman after playing most of his footy at half-forward or a little bit on the wing. We think that while he’s a skinny, with the way the game’s going and the way we want to play, we want to give him as much game time as possible and give him as much of the ball as much as we can because he uses the ball so well. It’s a big year for Krak and hopefully he can string a few games together."

Sounds like Primus is trying to hose down expectations for Krak..

BTW robpaw Hentschel only turned 26 in december and he was only 23 when he suffered his injury so u can't really say he was ever in his prime. He would only really be entering his best years now (if he didn't suffer his setback), so i think his best footy is yet to come. He would have learnt alot about footy watching from the sidelines and matured alot. IMO he still has the potential to be a big scorer.
